diagnostics of team effectiveness.BPD's proprietary method of diagnosing team effectiveness based on the Insights Discovery™ model

A team is a group of people who not only share a common goal, but also work together to achieve it. Nowadays, it is increasingly common for professionals to work simultaneously in several project teams, and a significant number of team members are dispersed. This creates new challenges for leaders and team members. Our program allows you to improve efficiency and team spirit based on hard analytical data.

Which team actually requires team diagnostics?
Teamwork diagnostics can be beneficial to any team, regardless of its size and function.
They can be especially useful in case of teams that are experiencing problems such as low morale, poor communication or a lack of productivity. It is also helpful in case of newly formed teams, or teams that are undergoing organizational change. How to work in virtual teams?
It can be a challenge, but it is also an opportunity to increase efficiency. Building a virtual team is all about creating interpersonal relationships. Such relationships not only build team harmony, but also help improve communication and increase productivity. The style of work of individual team members also affects virtual teams, so it is worth recognizing what this style is and restructure the workflow of the team in such a way as to achieve the desired efficiency.
Remote work requires the proper selection and use of IT tools. However, this is a separate issue that is usually addressed during the consultations. How does the recognition of the individuals' personality traits aid in teamwork?
Individual personality traits have a decisive influence on our interactions and understanding of information coming from the environment, which affects communication and the way we make decisions. We can evaluate this using psychometric tests.
Personality analyses describe an individual co-worker's personality type and preferences based on the theoretical model developed by C.G. Jung. The "Insights Discovery" is a widely popular and reliable method of assessment in a business environment. By using psychometric evaluations to assess the strengths and weaknesses of team members, managers can create balanced and diverse teams, thoughtfully assign roles and responsibilities, provide feedback and coaching, and foster trust, respect and understanding among team members. What sets a focused team apart?
A focused team will:
What behaviors are prevalent in a flow team?
Members of a flow team will:
What is the value of a good team climate?

Benefits of an effective team:
Our method of working:
Teamwork diagnostics
This stage involves the respondents filling out an anonymous online questionnaire, in which they express their opinions about the team's work and evaluate its effectiveness. The diagnostics are carried out on two levels - evaluating the general perception of the team's work and the behavior in specific situations. Information on the institutional, team and personal goals is also collected. The analysis of the results enables the evaluation of the state of the team in terms of the four areas of the Team Effectiveness Model (An Insights Discovery™ concept).
Interpretation of the diagnostics results
In the next step, the BPD consultant provides a report which correlates with the diagnostics, including graphs, statistical analysis and preliminary conclusions of the study. During a consultation with the team leader, we jointly interpret the results. For example, the chart on the right may suggest that the team has experienced some dysfunction in the way it set its goals and the way it strives to achieve them, but in a particular case such a result may have its justification and not be a cause for concern; hence the need to discuss the results. The result of this stage is a preliminary recommendation: what needs to be worked on.
The diagnostics and their interpretation can be carried out systematically as an integral tool, to serve as a team “barometer”, especially in the case of virtual teams, where daily communication is difficult. Creative Team Workshop
This stage is an in-depth discussion between the members of the entire team facilitated by the consultant. After presenting the results of the diagnostics, the participants share ideas and express their expectations in relation to improving teamwork. Suggestions for improvement may apply to the selected categories in the four areas of the Performance Model. Next, the developed ideas are evaluated using a decision-making matrix. The result of these decisions is an Action Plan. The benefits of involving the team at this stage of the process are that the solutions are of a higher quality and that there is a greater motivation to implement them.
Activities that facilitate team development
This stage involves the implementation of the Action Plan. Specifically, this may include institutional changes, team-building activities or training to improve the required competencies.
